FormID Finder by Asesino
Not strictly a crash prevention mod but it does help fix incorrect installation of meshes and textures.
Very easy to use. Simply find the object that doesn't have a mesh and/or texture, point your crosshair at the object, press Alt then Right-click and let FormID Finder do the work. The mod description page can give a better explanation than I can. Visit the page and see for yourself what it can do.
